A Walk in the Woods

My roommate had a project he was working on, he needed to film humans interacting with nature. We dipped into this wooded area that's a little slope slide from the edge of the road. We wanted to see this creek and shoot interaction with it but, out of no where we both heard this mega phone sound. It was too far off for us to understand what was said but we were definitely spooked. I didn't think the land was owned by anyone or was private but we quickly abandoned ship.

I've thought a lot lately about location. How important location is to our life and just thinking about how location can direct so much information about us.

The ownership of that section of nature was someone's marked location; which ironically coincides with my roommates project in terms of that being a type of interaction between humans and nature. That ownership and protective thinking around a location with your name on it.
